Pierre’s Liquor, Concord, California
Jack Singh, owner of Pierre’s Liquor, installed NRM’s CoolTrol Anti-Sweat Door Heater Controller and EC (electronically commutated) Evaporator Fan Replacement Motors to decrease his electricity costs and improve his operating margins. The Door Heater Controller optimizes the door heater performance of his walk-in cooler by controlling them based on the humidity and dew point of the liquor store. The ECM’s reduce the energy consumption of his evaporator coil by 65%. “The savings turned out to be at least 50% more than what NRM originally estimated. Combined with a local rebate that NRM obtained from the utility, my payback was less than 4 months!* Furthermore, the installation did not intrude on the operations of my liquor store and the equipment has performed without any problems.”
