March 2010 NRM Customer, Carlson Orchards, Paves Way for Spot in the Governor’s Clean Energy Challenge Leadership Circle and Governor’s Medal
The New England Clean Energy Council created this Challenge in 2009 to inspire Massachusetts businesses to do their part to dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Those who reduce emissions by more than 10% over the next three years will be eligible for the Challenge Leadership Circle and one of three Governor’s Medals.
To date, the Harvard, Massachusetts-based orchard has secured $33,000 in energy efficiency grants and is on track to reduce their carbon footprint by 25% or 100,000 kWh thanks to NRM’s CoolTrol® system.
7/11/08 NRM Customer, Sierra Meat Company, Wins Silicon Valley Power Energy Innovator Award
Sierra Meat Company of Santa Clara, California, earned the Energy Efficiency Partner Award by installing NRM’s Remote Site Manager System, which ultimately saved 14,000 kWh a month and cut energy costs by $15,000.
