Energy Advisor
(Tulsa/Oklahoma City, OK)

Job Summary

The role of an Energy Advisor is to further build NRM’s market presence by identifying, developing, and closing new projects that result in long-term business relationships. An integral part of this role includes conducting energy audits and driving the sales process through closing the sale. Our potential clients are found in a range of business-types: from large, cold storage warehouses, to food processing/distribution, to convenience stores and liquor stores. Although it is a remote position, candidate will be fully supported by the corporate office located in Canton, MA.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the full range of the sales-cycle beginning with lead generation to closing the sale
  • Conduct energy audits for eligible prospective clients, which may extend across multi-components of NRM’s service offering
  • Articulate the features/functionality of NRM’s service offering, including our award-winning CoolTrol ™ and Remote Site Manager systems, and our industry-leading energy efficiency measures
  • Develop rapport with new NRM clients ensure to project commissioning optimizes kWh savings and serves their best interests


Skills Required

  • Entrepreneurial work ethic
  • Proven sales track record in identifying and closing new business
  • Able to distill technical information into a easy to understand concept
  • 3 – 5 years related experience which may include sales, refrigeration controls, and/or energy efficiency
  • College degree
  • Foreign language is a strong advantage
