For Viren Bhagat, seeing was believing when it came to NRM’s refrigeration optimization measures. Mr. Bhagat owns two small businesses in Concord, NH — Milano Mini Mart and Capital Beverage — and both wound up having eligible walk-in coolers for his utility’s efficiency program. His situation, where a single individual is the proprietor of multiple businesses, is the kind that often sees the most bang for their buck in a program like this.
